Pilot Coffee Roasters have been brewing hot, steaming cups of coffee since 2009. You can expect a bumbling atmosphere filled with brilliant aromas when you walk in.
Pilot Coffee Roasters has an enormous number of different blends from all over the world. From chocolate-y ‘San Jerónimo’ from Guatemala, to strawberry flavoured ‘Ana Sora’ from Ethiopia, the whole world can be tasted in the form of coffee. These blends can be chosen when ordering your coffee, or they can be bought in bags both in store and online for you to brew at home.
Why not pair your coffee with some fresh baked goods? From cookies, to muffins, bagels and brownies, whichever sweet treat you’d like is on display for you to bite into. We recommend their sumptuous Salted Caramel & Pecan Brownies. These brownies are incredibly tender and moist on the inside, and the pecans give it a nutty feel in perfect contrast to the caramel’s sweetness.
Coffee isn’t only only good when it’s hot! Pilot Coffee Roasters have a wide selection of innovative iced coffee flavours. Only available in the summer, their Iced Citrus Latte closes the gap between coffee and fruit juice. This results in an incredibly refreshing taste. Similarly, the Matcha Lemonade is an ice cool drink that will wake your body up and fill it with energy.
Pilot Coffee Roasters is not just a café. They’re here to share the joy of brewing coffee with everyone. As such, you’ll be able to find coffee making equipment such as filters, grinders, and full barista sets. If you’re interested in turning your home into a personal café, we have linked their website in this article.

A good cup of coffee is the perfect start to any day, and it’s not a bad idea to start it at Figaro Coffee House.
Figaro has a range of options when it comes to coffee. If you’re a dairy fan, we’d recommend the velvety goodness of their Classic Latte ($4).
There are also many sweet options available to pair with your coffee selection, including Chocolate Croissants ($3.75) and Greek Yogurt Cherry Danishes ($3.75). Figaro’s pastries are flaky, buttery and full of filling.
If coffee-time extends into lunch-time, Figaro has a range of sandwiches, wraps, and flatbreads on offer. We’d recommend their Italian Sandwich ($.8.75), made with locally sourced Italian deli meat, veggies and Figaro’s house-made lemon basil aioli served on a fresh Ciabatta bun.
The Poop Café is one of the more interesting cafés in Oakville, and it won’t take you long to figure out why.
Every bowl, cup, and plate is a toilet with some kind of poop-shaped dessert inside. This café’s theme allows for some hysterically creative menu items. For example, a portion of their menu is titled ‘Hot Shit’. These are coffees, lattes and teas put in a toilet shaped mug. It may look strange, but you’ll find that these drinks are delicious once you gather the courage to take a sip.
Vietnamese Coffee, Japanese Milk Tea, and Iced Coffee
Poop Café’s milkshakes are called ‘Poopshakes’. Don’t worry, there’s no special ingredient in it. They have a dozen different flavours including Oreo, Black Sesame, and Green Tea.
A proud employee pointing to their Poopshakes
The ‘DooDoo Waffle’ is made in a special Hong Kong style, which means it’s warm, soft, and melts in your mouth. You could also get the traditional Hong Kong waffle without the doodoo shape, but that’s just not as fun.
Poop Café also has boba tea! They have a wide array of Milk Tea and Fruit Tea options. Below is an image of their delicious Strawberry Matcha Latte.

Jack and Joseph Chami, two of seven Lebanese siblings, fled from the Civil War in hopes of a better future. With them, their family’s bagel recipe, a recipe handed down from generation to generation.
The brothers and their family immigrated to Montreal, Quebec in 1987, and then to Burlington, Ontario in 1991. They loved Montreal’s Eurocentric feel, but what they found in Burlington was a beautiful, quiet town on the shore of Lake Ontario; a place that reminded them of their Mediterranean roots.
Both Jack and Joe had a go at their own careers and businesses for a number of years, but it wasn’t until they decided to join efforts, use their family recipe, and start a business together, that “JC’s” was born.
JC’s Hot Bagels was officially registered on paper in 1995, and the hard work started with their grand opening, on March 13, 1996.Working 16-hour days and 7 days a week, the brothers didn’t have a clue what to expect. Many people gave them two weeks to close, especially since they were located beside a major, well-established competitor. But their bagels (and their homemade cream cheese spreads, and delectable sandwiches – for both breakfast and lunch – hot drinks, salads, and more) set them apart from the rest. There’s a reason why this family-run bagel shop is still a community favourite decades later…and really, the only way to understand it, is to try it.
