At Sweet! Bakery, you can find cakes baked with huge amounts of skill and even bigger amounts of love. What started as a young girl’s passion for making cupcakes during high school has developed into the most popular sweet shop in Bronte Village.
Sweet! Bakery’s cupcakes and mini-cupcakes come in all sorts of creative flavours. Some of our favourites are their Butterscotch, Chocolate Salted Caramel, and Peanut Butter Chocolate. When you buy them by the dozen, you can choose exactly how many of each flavour you’d like, or ask them to surprise you with many different flavours.
A good cookies is crunchy on the outside but warm and tender on the inside. Sweet! Bakery’s lineup of cookies does exactly that. Their four delicious flavours are Chocolate Chip, Red Velvet, Ginger Molasses and Oatmeal Cranberry Pecan.
The biggest appeal at Sweet! Bakery would have to be their designer cakes. If you tell them a specific design you’d like for a special occasion, they’ll apply their artistic touches and have it ready within a week. But, if there’s no special theme you’d want and just want yourself some cake, they’ll have Vanilla, Chocolate, and Caramel cakes ready to be purchased in store.

With a mission to serve the finest food in the area that is crafted only from the freshest ingredients, Chef Mel and his wife Zara have been providing welcoming customer service since 2008.
The convenient location offers a warm atmosphere and tasty dishes (including a delicious Moroccan Veggie Plate, traditional Mediterranean Pitas and Salads, Maza, Lentil Soup and more).
Come for a sit-down meal, or pick up a takeout to enjoy at home. You can get one of the many Pita wraps such as pineapple chicken, steak or falafel and enjoy it by the shore with friends.

Established in 1973, El Spero is a family-owned and operated restaurant that has proudly served the community for over 47 years. Enjoy their casual, laid-back ambiance, homemade cooking, and fantastic service. Enjoy a large selection of Italian entrees, burgers, burgers, sandwiches, and euro-inspired dishes like schnitzel and Mediterranean chicken. Bonus: all-day breakfast. We’re all about that. Oh, and they’re located in beautiful Bronte Village, just a short walk away from the lake.
The Bronte Boathouse is located in the Harbour Banquet and Conference Centre, right on the boardwalk in Bronte Harbour. You won’t get any closer to the boats and yachts in the harbour than this, and it is a favourite spot for people to gather after a day on the water. The menu is easy going, with a good raw and sushi bar, summer salads, tasty sandwiches and pizzas.
While there is an indoor dining area, the patio is where it is at in this restaurant, with a huge terrace, plenty of tables and a clear invitation to dine outside and watch the boats come and go.
A longstanding landmark in Bronte, Cucci Ristorante is the place to be for a romantic meal or for celebrating something special. With exceptional fine dining, live music, a beautiful intimate dining room, and outstanding service, you should expect the best in hospitality. And their menu features Italian food with innovative flavour combinations such as the Garlic & Citrus Shrimp Spaghetti or the Braised Rabbit and Mascarpone Ravioli.
Cucci has a large terrace in the summer months, tastefully organized with large umbrellas, privacy and twinkling lights for those romantic evenings.
Plank’s location at the corner of Bronte Road and Marine Drive in Bronte means you are in the heart of the village, with nice views of the Bronte Creek and marina. This very popular gathering spot specializes in small plates, ideal for sharing, great music, and a fine selection of beers, wines and bourbons. The food menu is international, with a focus on fresh, locally sourced, in-season ingredients.
In the summer months, the Town of Oakville have approved the closure of Marine Drive allowing Plank to set up a large tent and a much larger outdoor dining area. You will still need to come early or call ahead to reserve a spot!
