PIANO PIANO is the Italian restaurant you always wished was just around the corner, and now it is! Located on the corner of Thomas and Church (in what was previously Jonathan’s, an Oakville fave), you’ll see an explosion of pink flowers painted on a building that is PIANO PIANO (you truly can’t miss it).   If there is a common thread that runs through Piano Piano, it’s a deep-seated soulfulness and sensuality that is at once warm, welcoming, and just plain fun.

For lunch, enjoy an app + pizza or pasta + dessert special for one fixed price. Or, if you’re craving an a la carte main, there’s Bone-In Veal Parm, Sea Bass, and Eggplant Fritti.

For dinner, their menu explodes with variety. Snacks, appetizers, pizza, pastas, mains, family-style, sides, and desserts. Oh! And their selection of wine, bubbles, cocktails, and beer. Fun, fabulous – FOOD!

Nyla’s Room: an Italian Café and British Tea Room cohabitating in Downtown Oakville.  Enjoy high-quality, fun food in a casual setting, perfect for lunch or an afternoon treat, including chocolates, pastries, savoury bites, and Jamaican-style soups (plus gelato and bespoke high tea). Their Afternoon Tea is by reservation but promises high-touch pampering to match its top-quality teas. Seated in the beautiful drawing room, your menu could include smoked Norwegian organic salmon with crème Fraiche pinwheels, English cucumber with cream cheese and chive rounds topped with Ontario tomato, lemon blueberry, or garlic and chive scones, or an assortment of petit fours.

Time for tea!

For fresh seafood and a celebrity chef experience, visit Noble Bistro Seafood in elegant Downtown Oakville. Their appetizers are available in three sizes: teaser, appetizer, and platter (yes!), perfect for sharing or sampling their menu. Many of their mains, of course, are seafood based (and fresh), except for a few vegan items like their Garden Vegetable Orecchiette Pasta with sundried tomato, almond pesto, and chickpea. But you’ll also find Sea Bass, Crab Legs, and Nova Scotia Lobster served with organic vegetables.

Their Chef, John Ross Woodland, was the winner of Chopped Canada and also named Top 30 Chefs under the age of 30 in Canada. With the highest quality of seafood and the freshest ingredients, Noble Bistro is a must-try seafood experience in Oakville.

Grab your friends, hockey buddies, favourite workmates, and head to King’s Arms. This Oakville pub in the heart of downtown has proudly served the community for generations. It’s where milestones are celebrated, and good cheer is met. For starters, you MUST try their Yellow Belly Chicken – an over-the-top fried chicken, intricate to helping the restaurant survive the pandemic (and now stands as a fave menu item).  They’ve mastered sharing + small plates, including Steak Tacos, Nachos, Wings, and Cauli Fritters. Plus an offering of handhelds (think burgers and sammies), salads, mains and bowls (fajitas, fish and chips, aha tuna bowl). And finally their extensive drink list and late-night offerings (they are a pub, afterall).

The King’s Arms has been and remains a staple of Oakville’s downtown area since opening its doors in ’93. A place where a familiar smile sets your worries adrift and a reminder that there is no greater comfort than the feeling of being at home.

Paradiso has been a constant and ever popular choice to gather with family and friends in Downtown Oakville and Downtown Burlington for years.  With a warm and intimate atmosphere, an open concept kitchen, and cuisine that draws inspiration from the warm climate of the Mediterranean, it’s a perfect spot to gather for lunch or dinner.

Renowned for their ever popular pasta dishes such as the hand-rolled gnocchi or the traditional and heart-warming Bolognese made with a rich ragout of Provimi veal and beef, their regular menu is made for food lovers – and their Taste 2023 menu is no different. And don’t forget to leave room for dessert – they are decadent and delightful. Paradiso was also an early pioneer of live music while dining in Oakville, and is looking forward to hosting some musical talent again for Taste 2023.
