Fiftie’s diner is a proudly Canadian local eatery located on Fourth Line. Serving both breakfast and lunch, it’s a great place to get your friends together for a casual meal.

Fiftys Style Diner

At brunch, you can expect their menu to be full of options such as Pancakes, Waffles, Eggs Benedict and French Toast. Their breakfast combo named ‘Temptation’ consists of two sweet pieces of french toast, 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries and buttery toast. It’s a classic breakfast filled with a variety of flavours to delightfully start your day with.

Fiftie’s Diner’s homemade burgers certainly cannot be ignored on their menu. A burger is not just about the patty itself, it’s the toppings that give it its identity. Try the Big Bopper for example, which is topped with Swiss cheese, perfectly fried onions and steaming mushrooms. Or, check out their Elvis Burger, which has an assortment of different cheeses, bacon, red onions, and special dijon sauce.

Below is an image of Fiftie’s Diner’s special Pulled Pork poutine. Crispy fries and saucy pulled pork is smothered in gravy and then put on a plate with hot sauce lined around it. This is a creative delicacy that you should definitely check out.

Fiftie’s Diner has much, much more to offer than what we’ve covered in this article. Steak, pasta, fish & chips, omelettes. and their classic diner vibe.. they are much more than just a brunch spot. If you wanna see the full extent of their menu, we have linked their website in this article.

Palermo Pub first opened in 2004 under the name ‘Jimmy Heroes’, but then decided to change its name 6 years later to reflect the peaceful area of Oakville the pub resides in. While most pubs tend to be loud and noisy, Palermo Pub is relatively relaxing. As a patron, you can watch live sports on 5 different screens while your fellow bar-mates chug down a beer or two. It’s a lively but friendly pub, where old friends catch up and new friends are made.

Palermo Pub’s menu consists of traditional pub-fare with their own special twist. In 2020, Palermo Pub’s wings received an award for the best wings in Oakville. We think that makes them worth a try.

Palermo Pub also offers a perfectly crispy hot chicken sandwich with a side of waffle fries.

Next up are their special Ms. Vickie’s Fish and Chips. As advertised, this dish consists of a piece of beer-battered haddock covered in Ms. Vickie’s branded potato chips. Served with fries, coleslaw, and tartar sauce, this fish is delightfully crunchy!

Palermo Pub values their regular customers so much that they have a member system. Rewards include coupons, free items, and discounts. The greatest part of being a member is not the perks, but the relationships you’ll build as a regular.

Cocktail Hour

Every weekday from 4-6 PM is Palermo Pub’s cocktail hour. Enjoy cocktails, beer, and wine from their dedicated menu.
